7. Sloth - This is the sin that fits Vlad the least. He's active, motivated, and likely to get anything done (to perfection, no less) before you could get out of bed. Because of his strong willpower, the only crucial evidence of Sloth has to do with his rich boy status in that he uses servants and employees to do certain work for him. Even Vlad cannot be at two places at once...well, no, he CAN. He can duplicate. Oh, you get what I mean!

6. Gluttony - Gluttony is usually symbolized with overeating. Vlad's physic reveals the complete opposite. He's thin, but well-toned. It's obvious he takes good care of his body. Gluttony can be used as a second meaning to desire things besides food. For Vlad, it's love.
The very unpenetrable force sticks to his heard and continues feeding him, driving him to get more and more of that love. Whatever little sparks he feels, he treasures. He will use whatever sneaky, dirty, and just plain murdering means to feed his lonely heard.

5. Greed - Greed and Gluttony can almost go hand in hand when it comes to love. It's what Vlad wants; it drives him. He's hungry for it and his constant yearning for others to accept him as both husband and father puts him in a position where he creates malicious plans that ultimately backfire on him. Too much greed is never a good thing and the end results Vlad got weren't happy.
Greed is a trait Vlad employed in Season Three when he demanded more money at the series finale, but I always consider that a severe out of character moment. Money and power may have given him the status and he wouldn't easily give it up, but those two merely help him gain his own personal goals for love. He doesn't see money as a substitute for romance let alone a cherished treasure.

4. Envy - This drives Vlad. He'd never admit it because he is a prideful man, but Vlad is unspeakably jealous of Jack. He has Maddie as his wife and Danny as his son. It's not fair. How did an idiot like him possess a gorgeous, intelligent woman who would do so much better with an equally gorgeous, intelligent man? How did he produce a son who has coincidental half-ghost powers like him?
All the money and power in the world means nothing when he can't get what he truly wants.

3. Wrath - Vlad is usually seen as a calm and collected man. He's had his case of frustration and is quick to rant when something's crawled up his ass.
But Wrath isn't exemplified until the Season Two Finale. So why is it so high up on the list? Because his near-insane, crazy villain breakdown caused Vlad to do a 180 and refuse his #1 goal: obtain Danny as his son. His perfect clone—no—perfect son has been demolished in the boy's hand. That was the last straw and Vlad has had enough of this shit. The kid gloves are off. His anger changed his life.
It's vendetta beyond vendetta.

2. Pride - Vlad has failed several times throughout the series; he constantly gets mocked by a half ghost child of all people, and constantly gets rejected by the love of his life. Vlad gets bitchy over it and though it taxes his emotions throughout the story, rarely does he ever show it in public.
For most of the run, Vlad keeps a pompous, prime, and charismatic air in front of his enemies and the public. He's rich, powerful, and good looking, damn it! Why shouldn't he have confidence in sunshine (and himself). He doesn't love himself (despite what "Livin' Large" implies, Vlad is NOT narcissistic), but he'll refuse to let the negative get him down. He'll sulk, but will quickly recover with the next newest plan. Nothing can bring Vlad down. Nothing.

1. Lust - Nothing qualifies Vlad more then lust. The sin of Lust is usually not meant to represent commitment love, but let's just assume it is. For Vlad's case.
Love drives Vlad's heard. Whether you consider it sympathetic or just plain pathetic, it's ultimately what caused the other seven sins inside him. Since the accident, Vlad has had a great deal of good fortune. Ghost powers that make him superior to everyone else, wealth and fame that comes from manipulation and ghostly advantage. Respect and beloved by the public. The man is a loved by all, but it's not enough.
He has everything he wants in the world except love. All the people who admire him doesn't know who he truly is. He cannot connect with them on an emotional or physical (if you get my meaning) level. The only way he got through the lonliness the past twenty years was by keeping himself busy building his vast empire as well as plans to kill Jack and win Maddie's heart (and later, Danny's). The more he spent time with them (in all its dysfunctional glory), the more he wanted them.
It was this that eventually led to his downfall. In a tragic and bitter irony, Vlad ended up staring at the cold, empty space that filled his heart years ago.
