Danny Phantom Theme Song (Original Version)
Music: Guy Moon
Vocals: Deric Battiste and Guy Moon*
Opinion: Before Guy Moon was told by the higher-ups to build an origin on how Danny got his powers into the theme song, these were the lyrics he would have used instead. Never aired in the series itself, this particular opening can be heard at Hartman's official website. In my opinion, I have a bit of love for the original concept because it sounds a tad more catchier and the rap didn't seem terribly narmy as the current one. Yet I don't much care for it at the same time because it doesn't flow as well as the other, nor does the music change beats as frequently as the other. I suppose it's a half and half thing between the original and the one we got.

(He's a Phantom)
(Danny Phantom) *echoes*

A kid's whose life was changed.
Molecules rearranged
Ghosts are so derangeeeeeed.

(Gonna catch 'em cuz' he's Danny Phantom, Phantom, Phantom)

Those ghosts don't stand a chance.
Senses all enhanced.
Powers so advaaaaanced.

(He's gonna catch 'em all cuz' he's Danny Phantom, Phantom, Phantom}

Unleashing all of the freaks
Onto his hometown street
Now everyone he'll beat
Flying right through the walls**
You can't see him at all
If they are big or small, small, small

Gotta catch 'em all because he's Danny Phantom
Gotta catch 'em all because he's Danny Phantom
Gotta catch 'em all because he's Danny Phantom

Danny Phantom Theme Song
Music: Guy Moon
Vocals: Deric Battiste and Guy Moon*
Opinion: I don't care much for the rap or the chorus line; the latter sounds like something Pokemon would employ back during the first generation days (when that goddamn "Gotta catch 'em all" catchphrase was all the rage). If anything, the theme song is much better without the lyrics as the music alone is pretty nice to listen to.

(He's a Phantom)
(Danny Phantom) *echoes*
Young Danny Fenton, he was just fourteen
*** When his parents built a very strange machine.
It was designed to view a world unseen.

(He's gonna catch 'em all cuz' he's Danny Phantom.) *echoes*

When it didn't quite work, he's folk, they just quit.
But then Danny took a look inside of it.
There was a great big flash, everything just changed.
His molecules got all rearranged.

When he first woke up, he realized
He had snow white hair and glowing green eyes.
He could walk through walls, disappear, and fly.
He was much more unique then the others guys.

And it was then that he knew what he had to do
He had to stop all the ghosts that were coming through.
He's here to fight for me and you!

He's gonna catch 'em cuz' he's Danny Phantom
He's gonna catch 'em cuz' he's Danny Phantom
He's gonna catch 'em cuz' he's...Danny Phantom!

Remember
Music: Guy Moon
Vocals: Robin Kimissel (Apparently: she's not listed on the credits, but several creditable sources declare this mysterious chick as Ember's singer; please note me if I'm wrong.
Opinion: Despite Sam declaring this as a generic "pre-packaged bubblegum corporate" whatzit, the song remains my favorite of the Danny Phantom universe. The lyrics speak a lot on potential theories of Ember's possible human life (and the unfortunate source of hundreds of bad fanfics) while the music itself is catchy, memorable, and fun to listen to.

Yeah—hhhh, Ooooohhhhh

It was, it was September
Wind blows, the dead leaves fall
To you I did surrender
Two weeks, you didn't call

Your life goes on without me
My life a losing game
But you should, you should not doubt me
You will remember my name

Chorus
Oh-ooohh, Ember, you will remember
Ember, one thing remains
Oh-oooh, Ember, so warm and tendeeeeeeeeeer
You will remember my name!

Your heart, your heart has abandoned****
Your walls, now perishing.
Like dead trees in cold December
Nothing but ashes remain...

Chorus
Oh-ooohh, Ember, you will remember
Ember, one thing remains
Oh-oooh, Ember, so warm and tendeeeeeeeeeer
You will remember my name!
(2x)

Yeaaaah, you will remember my naaaaaaaaaame.

Ghostkateers Battle Song
Music: Guy Moon
Vocals: Rob Paulsen, Kathie Soucie, Maria Canals, James Sie, and S. Scott Bullock
Opinion: An extremely cringeworthy song made by Jack and Maddie and sung by them, plus Dash, Kwan, and Paulina (the latter three are currently possessed). Danny and Jazz aren't big fans of it either.

Jack: G-H-OOOO-
Maddie: "O"? You've seen a ghost!
Jack: S-T-K-AAAAA-
Maddie: "A"? (pun on "Ey"), you've seen a Canadian Ghost?

Everyone: A-T-Double E-RRRRRRRR! *pause* S!

Lancer's Greensleeves Song
Music: Guy Moon
Vocals: Ron Perlman
Opinion: A funny rendition of "Greensleeves" by Lancer.

A happy princess is sweet and pure
With hair of gold and teeth of white.
Her soft complexion
Is pure perfection
With nary a pimple in sight
...except her.

Girls' Night Out (no official title given)
Music: Guy Moon
Vocals: Tara Strong, I assume.
Opinion: This song, much like the rest of this episode sucks, no more, no less.

Hey girls *echoes* It's girls' night out (Night out, night out, night out).

Wooooaaaaaaaaah!
(Come on, girls! Let's do this!)
(Whoo! All right! Come on!)

Hey girls, we're a lot of fun.
(Doo wap, wap)
We'll show all of you l'il schoolboys how it's done
(Doo wap, wap)

We got the looks that you're all after
We got the moves that make you cry
(Make you cry)
You crazy chimps are causing laughter*****
You wanna kiss, baby, don't even trrrrrry
(—trrrryyy—rrrrrryyyyyyy)

*Mandy 2014 found the info on who the main singer of the theme song is. Turns out, it was listed in the credits. Well, I feel dumb.

**The official storyboards, found on this site has the lyrics written as "Flying right through the walls", but as muffled as it was, repeated listening sounded more like "charging" then "flying". I left it with the latter since that was the official word, but if anyone knows any better, let me know.

***I can't hear if it starts with "Young" or "Yo". While the latter would fit the rap more, I've heard officially that it IS "young". Of course, my info on the former was from a reliable piece of info I found years ago that I no longer have or remember. If anyone knows better (with proof), please contact me.

****Unfortunately her song was too muffled to hear whether she said "abandoned" or "ventured". I put in the former since that seems to be the popular one around here, but if anyone can tell me otherwise, please do so. Pointed out by Sule.

*****I don't know if she meant to say "chimps" or "chicks". It seems she was referring to the men, so I assume it's the former. Tell me if I'm wrong. I think it's high time Hartman (or Guy Moon) needs to start collecting higher qualities versions of tunes that adore his creations.
